DIRECT SALES SUPPORT

The Lansing Group, Ltd. (TLG) works with a national group of experienced Regional Sales Managers and food brokers to provide a sales force to fit our manufacturer client’s sales requirements. We can provide a total sales force or supplement the sales force a manufacturer currently has in-place. 


TLG's sales organization is structured to provide our clients with a strong market-by-market sales management network. Working with TLG significantly increases the opportunity for greater sales reach and profitability for our clients while reducing staffing costs.


TLG contracts with independent sales and marketing representatives and brokers on a regional or market-by-market basis, depending on the specific client need.


SALES OF OVERSTOCK PRODUCTS

TLG provides manufacturers with an efficient sales option for products that need to be moved outside of the normal sales channel. These include products that are overstocks, short-coded, discontinued, package changes, slightly damaged or other products that a manufacturer does not want to sell to their current customers. 

TLG works with our clients to determine the best sales outlets at the most realistic pricing for these opportunity products. We present the items to potential buyers, receive the purchase orders and submit them to our manufacturer clients. 


SALES TO ALTERNATE RETAIL CHANNELS 

TLG offers manufacturers an efficient way to quickly sell products to alternate channel retailers including, but not limited to:


  • Convenience Stores
  • Dollar Stores
  • Drug Stores
  • Hispanic Distributors and Retailers
  • Mass Merchandisers
  • Wholesalers

  • We work with our clients to determine the retail accounts where they need additional sales support, then round out their current sales network selling to these outlets. In addition, we assist in structuring pricing and promotional programs to maximize profits and sales volume.


    SALES TO MAINSTREAM SUPERMARKET ACCOUNTS

    Through our Regional Manager and broker network sales structure, TLG provides an in-market sales team similar to that of major packaged goods companies. We offer professional management coverage of all key supermarket chains and hands-on management of brokers.
